HAGGIS

mmmm... looks good doesn't it. Good enough to eat?
We did!!! Erin was up for a visit from London and Helen had some visitors from the Czech Republic - so we gave them an authentic Scottish experience - Haggis, peeps and tatties. [Haggis is usually sheep's 'pluck' (heart, liver, and lungs), minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally boiled in the animal's stomach] There was a vegetarian version as well, and we had pumpkin and mashed potatos. The perfect thing on a wintery scottish evening! Oh yeah and a nip of whisky to top it off! Mmmmmm!
