It is time to enjoy our first winter christmas. All those traditions start to make more sense when it is cold and dark. Hmmm, mulled wine is good. Talking of mulled wine we went down to check out Edinburgh's own winter wonderland. This includes an outdoor ice skating rink in the middle of town under the castle, with fair-ground rides, and a german christmas market. (Britain having inherited their christmas tradition from their German king... Anyway, we went on the giant wheel and it was fun, weeeeeeee.
