We joined the circus!

On Thurs we went to the Festival Theatre to see the le Grande Cirque show. It was amazing! It is like the Cirque du Soleil in that it was a showcase of human acrobatics, music and dance rather than animals. The performers were so young, it's hard to imagine what their lives are like. They have to be so disciplined to be able to bend over backwards while balancing candles and flipping through hoops 3m off the ground! The individual acts were tied together by the Ringmaster who was very much like a street performer. He didn't speak just interacted with the audience using gestures. He even dragged us up on stage for one of his sketches! He did that trick where he got me to kiss him on the cheek and at the last min turned his head so I kissed him on the lips! In front of all those people! Steve danced on stage while all this was going on! Maybe we should quit our day-jobs...?!
