Cavalcade Parade
The Edinburgh Cavalcade Parade is the opening of the Edinburgh Festival. We were in it!!! Thousands of people paraded up Princes Street promoting their festival act or community group and every year the Edinburgh Samba School steals the show. The weather was not ideal so we warmed the damp crowd with Brazilian beats and fancy dancing. Even Steve was unable to resist the lure of feathers and sparkles!
