Bjork LIVE
I have wanted to see Bjork perform for a long time, so when I descovered she was doing a tour to promote her latest album and coming to a festival in Scotland I JUMPED [that was in March!] I managed to convince a few friends to join me and so our little possie went up to Inveraray Castle for three days of camping, mud, fab music and great food. The first night we saw CSS, Jarvis Cocker, The Jesus and Mary Chain and the Beastie Boys!!!! They were rockin' they played a whole range of their stuff and had a wick'd stage lighting set-up. Saturday we saw Modest Mouse, The Divine Comedy, Teenage Fanclub and Primal Scream. Their set was a bit dissapointing after the explosion of the Beasty Boys the night before. Sunday was the best with Regina Spektor, Patrick Wolf, M.I.A., Hot Chip, Bjork and LCD Soundsystem! Overload! Bjork had a stellar show with an icelandic trumpet choir, flags and lasers. She played songs from Debut, Post, Homogenic, Vespertine, Medula and ofcourse Volta. She was so tiny! I had really high expectations - but she exceeded them - she was amazing!
Yes, did I mention it was muddy?

It was an amazing location. The town of Inveraray was cute and the castle was grand. Like my festival gummies? [oh I mean Wellington boots]
