B J O R K *live

Yes – LIVE at the London Hammersmith Apollo – She knows how to put on a show... Lasers, confetti, an all-female Icelandic brass orchestra/choir, digital decks, guest musicians and an explosive finale. I recommend you see her LIVE even if you’re not a fan. You’ll be entertained. She played most of her songs from the recent album Volta, but a few oldies too. Hyperballad was clubbed-up, Army of Me was full of vibrato, and there were a few love songs from Vespertine in the set too. Matt and Jo joined us and really enjoyed it. We stayed with Cynthia and had a great catch up. We spent the day on Sunday at the Tate Modern where there was an exhibition on Marcel Duchamp, Francis Picabia and Man Ray and we got into the Globe Theater for free because it was Shakespare’s birthday = open day. Altogether an inspirational weekend!
