It's that time of year (February) when I finally get round to New Year's greetings. Thing is, we've been having too much dang fun to have time to post to y'all about it.

To start with, the UK's normal damp squib of a winter turned out to be a real corker. Weeks of high pressure, cold temps and beautiful snow covering the land. As this is Britain, it lead to panic buying of essential supplies like red wine and cloves, as media fuelled fears of a mulled wine shortage gripped the nation. To ensure enough red wine supplies for Christmas, Jo and I headed to Spain, where it flows most bountifully. We also went for some sunshine (Jo), rock (Steve) and to meet Tim and Debbie at El Chorro, near Malaga on the South Coast. We had a wonderful relaxing time sleeping in, drinking coffee, climbing, drinking red wine. More pics
here.
Sunshine and steep rock bliss.
Ginger Jo doing awesome.
Another highlight was the Calmino del Ray, or walkway of death. A walkway through a gorge, bolted on high up some steep cliffs, falling into disrepair. Fun fun fun!!!
Steve negotiating a gap in the walkway.

Steve, I see you were wearing a harness on the walkway of doom. Will you be going back to do it properly?
Mark,if I was to do it again I would wear a harness. My faith in dodgy spanish construction only goes so far.
