At 11:50 on December 31 the crowd on the snow covered street pulsed with excitment as we joined the world-class DJ David Guetta count down the final seconds of 2008. The snow floated down and we jumped up hugging and kissing each other until the amazing 16min fireworks display had us all in awe. The atmosphere was electric, the music started and we danced-in the new year like we were on fire. It was quite possibly the best new years ever! Of course I was thinking of you!
We were half-way through our weeks skiing holiday in Tignes, France. The snow continued to dump throughout the night and we woke, hungover, on the first day of the new year to the most beautiful calm weather and skied on fresh powder all day - it was awesome!
